Meet Diana Marchand and her dog, Bailey, a wellness and lifestyle coach for women who want to live with vibrant energy and health - women who wish to create a life of passion and fulfillment that expresses who they truly are now (who they have become) and who they are becoming. Sound like you?
Watch the video to hear if she considers herself too old to change her life after 50.
Diana is 56, doesn’t dress for her age and stopped putting age as a limitation and thinking about if she’s too old or shouldn't be doing this or shouldn't be saying that or shouldn't be living like this or that.
She works with women over 40, helping them transition through the midlife phase and then life beyond, but really living a healthy, happy, passionate, and purposeful life.
Sadly, after some dear people passed away in her life, her daughter, father, and cousin, Diana solidified her philosophy on living in the now, because we don't know what the future is going to hold.
Freedom is her number one core value, the freedom to make the choices she wants to make in life so she can live the life she chooses to live. She loves traveling, living fully, going out, and being in nature.
Diana’s advice to live an exhilarating life?
“No matter what your age, I believe you can choose to change your life now. It is never too late. You are never too old. There is always something you can start now. Begin to dream again, begin to imagine again, begin to even write out all the things that you would love to do and start making decisions now and choices now so that you can fully begin to live your life in a way that brings you most joy and happiness, stepping into your purpose, your passion, your full life. Have an amazing life. Why not?”

Hello. My name is Diana Marchand. And from a very young age, I remember always wanting a different kind of a life, a life that was not like what I saw other people around me living. And I didn't quite even understand that. So I think I was basically born like this, born, knowing that life was really meant to be lived, enjoyed and experienced. And so I seem to be a little bit different, but of course, everybody around me was living that kind of like normal life. And I thought that there was something wrong with me. And I don't know if many of you have grown up like that, but really it is such an awkward feeling going, why don't I want the things like everybody else does? And I think that the most important thing that I have learned through all my years is that what we desire and what we want is worthy.
We are worthy of it.
And no matter what it is, it is true to us. And it took me a long time to finally be okay with who I was and with the type of life that I want. Now, I am not living some really strange life. I started traveling at a very young age and I wanted to really experience life from a young age. I wasn't going to wait until I retired. I wasn't going to wait to have fun to see the world to travel.
I always spent money on experiences. I didn't have nice, really nice clothes, expensive clothes, nice furniture. I lived in a couple of homes that we rented that weren't bad and I did get married and I did have a child. So for many of those years, I did live what was seen as, of course, like one of the normal lives.
But I always knew that within, for me, for my experience to fully feel alive, that I want it to be free. And what that means to me is freedom of choice, living the life that we really desire to live and that flows and that changes as years go on also. So what we want when we're young, it changes when we're older. And I think really being aware of that and being okay with that and being okay, knowing that things can change and it can be totally fine. And I don't have to be stuck in a certain situation.
The biggest thing for me now is really empowering women, especially in midlife. I work with women 40 and over through the midlife change and beyond with health, with eating, mindset, stress reduction, all of those things, and empowering them to start saying yes to them!
You know, as women, we have put so many other people first and ourselves last, and that has led so many women to feeling exhausted, to gaining weight, to not feeling good about themselves. And you know, with society, we fear aging. We fear looking older, we feel terrible about ourselves. We often give up, you know, like so many often give up and think I'm too old for this, or it's too late for me. I can't do anything now. I missed when I should have. It's too late. And I'm here to tell you that it's never, ever too late. You can begin just with the smallest things to really live an exciting life or a type of life that feels good for you. And that's the most important thing. Now I have traveled the world. I have done amazing things. I have fully and completely lived my life in every sense of the way.
And I do have my online business. But I also, for me now, I feel like this, this, to me, living in exhilarating life and a fun life is like learning to grow my own food, is maybe having a small plot of land, is to living sustainable living in small spaces, living in a way that helps me to feel more joy, more calm, and more peace, but also helping and empowering and inspiring women to stand up and truly live the life they want to live. And that's my message, is you get to begin to move towards living a life that is more fully who you are and what feels good for you now. And it may change in the future, but at least start to do things that feel good for you now.
You are never too old. It is never too late. You are exactly where you are meant to be. We get to be vibrant, beautiful, healthy, and amazing as we live our life in the future. That's what it's all about. Living the life you love. I hope this resonates with you and that you really take the steps now to really tune into yourself and into your heart on what feels right for you and begin to take, begin to make changes and begin to take the steps that can move you forward to living more what feels good to you. Much love to you. Bye.
